Senior, Audit

Johor Bahru & Kuala Lumpur Full-time Malaysia Citizens RM 4,500 – RM 5,500 / month
About the role

Lead audit engagements from planning through sign-off, supervise and develop junior team members, and liaise directly with clients and partners. You will be the day-to-day engine on your assigned engagements — with genuine responsibility and visibility.

Candidates with the right profile will be considered for IPO-related engagements.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; partial professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' audit experience
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and audit software
Key responsibilities
  • Prepare, finalise and review audit working papers and reports
  • Lead audit engagements — planning, fieldwork, and concluding
  • Prepare draft tax computations and provision for tax liabilities
  • Manage and guide associates on the engagement team
  • Liaise with clients on accounting issues and outstanding items
  • Identify and communicate audit matters to managers and partners
  • Perform special audit engagements as assigned
  • Meet personal and team KPIs set by management

Audit & Assurance

Manager, Audit

Kuala Lumpur Full-time Malaysia Citizens RM 7,000 – RM 9,000 / month
About the role

Reporting to the Audit Partner, you will make sure every engagement applies the firm's audit methodology across all procedures and working papers, supervise and manage the audit seniors on your portfolio, and deliver each job within the agreed timeframe.

Salary depends on experience and qualifications. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to work on IPO-related engagements.

What we're looking for
  • Full or partial professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent) and/or a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' audit experience; experience with a top 10 international accounting firm preferred
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, and in Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage
  • Proactive, resourceful and innovative, with an eye for detail
  • Good report-writing, computer, leadership and people skills
Key responsibilities
  • Review audit working papers and audit reports
  • Lead audit engagements: planning, performing, reviewing the work of less experienced staff, and concluding
  • Liaise with clients on all aspects of the engagement, including accounting and related issues
  • Work with clients so that information flows efficiently to the audit team
  • Oversee special audit engagements
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to directors and partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Meet the KPIs set by management
  • Take on other duties as assigned
